Measures to reduce the risks of the COVID-19 spread

Given the situation with the new variant of the coronavirus, during the II stage of the “Solidarity Games” multidisciplinary international competitions in swimming, artistic swimming, and diving there will be implemented certain restrictions along with the actions taken to reduce the risk of the coronavirus spread.
According to the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Physician of the Russian Federation No. 22 dated 17 October 2022, starting 21 October 2022 foreign citizens are not required to take a laboratory test for coronavirus (PCR test) to enter the territory of the Russian Federation.
In order to ensure sanitary and quarantine control at points of entry across the State Border of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in the Russian Federation must fill out an application form for those who are on flights to the Russian Federation for border crossing. At points of entry across the State Border of the Russian Federation, Rospotrebnadzor is entitled to conduct mandatory random tests for coronavirus (or, in accordance with epidemiological indications, full examination of passengers from countries where the epidemiological situation has worsened) of citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons who arrive in the Russian Federation.
Venue can be accessed only after the temperature is taken. It is recommended to adhere to mask mandate, not to visit the places of mass gathering outside the accommodation facility and competition venue, to inform the head of delegation in case of the onset of the disease symptoms.
In case of disease or quarantine the Organising Committee does not bear the associated costs; they shall be paid by the corresponding delegation. It is strongly recommended to obtain insurance to cover additional expenses for accommodation, transfer, and hospitalisation.
